ETHIKYOU
Founded in 2021, ETHIKYOU is a company specializing in CSR solutions. Initially focused on consulting, ETHIKYOU expanded its offering with a digital tool that integrates its CSR expertise to serve HR professionals, managers, and business leaders.
This choice stems from the conviction that the transformation of an organization is only possible with its most valuable asset: its human capital, which is crucial in implementing policies and resources, especially in terms of CSR.
This belief in people also inspired the name ETHIKYOU, derived from the Greek word “Ethikos,” which refers to ethics and morals that guide the pursuit of good in human life around the world.
By addressing the potential within each individual, ETHIKYOU combines “ETHIK” from the Greek word and “YOU” from the English pronoun, focusing on unlocking the potential of every individual or organization to drive CSR initiatives.
Key Dates
Before 2021
The story of ETHIKYOU begins before its formal creation, evolving from Boris Francioli’s deep reflections on CSR challenges.
With a comprehensive ESG expertise in building methodologies and analyzing corporate CSR, Boris wonders about the possibility of conducting CSR analysis applied to human beings.
2021
In response to growing demand for his rare ESG expertise, Boris founded ETHIKYOU (initially ETHIKUS Consulting) after 15 years of experience in the CSR and ESG field.
He conducts consulting activities and gathers the needs of his clients worldwide. This leads him to seek solutions to anticipate his clients' problems which he sees in compliance with ESG regulations and standards. Simultaneously assuming Assessment Center activities, he enriches his vision of human potential to drive CSR.
Thus, he revisits his reflections on the CSR analysis applied to human beings as a solution for his clients by envisioning a digital format.
2022 - 2023
Boris validated several needs among his clients (finance, retail, textile, start-ups, AI, etc.). In doing so, he deepens his reflections by integrating technology with his ESG expertise to develop a product.
At this level, he designed prototypes for an application, formalized ESG methodological approaches, collaborated with developers to assess the feasibility of coding these methodologies, etc.
It is thus with hindsight and maturity in his reflections that Boris undertakes the development of the ETHIKYOU platform, of which he already has a clear vision.
2024
Despite a malicious developer thwarting the initial platform project, Boris perseveres and bounces back by surrounding himself with brilliant people.
This is the case with Marguerite who officially joins ETHIKYOU as Managing Partner. Key to finish the platform, she builds the network around Boris with diverse expertise. Alongside skilled and trustworthy developers, a high-performance platform is born to detect CSR in human beings.
Moreover, to demonstrate more directly the human potential for carrying CSR in organizations, Marguerite and Boris evolve the name ETHIKUS Consulting to ETHIKYOU, eponymous with the platform.
CEO
Involved in CSR since 2006, Boris has gained extensive ESG expertise working with public institutions (both in Europe and internationally), contributing to the development of global ESG frameworks for businesses before assisting them in complying with these standards. He then worked with an ESG data provider to develop corporate ESG methodologies and later with a law firm and consulting firms, where he helped companies comply with various French and European regulations (Article 173 of the French Energy Transition Law, Article 29 of the French Energy and Climate Law, SFDR, EU Taxonomy, CSRD, etc.).
For many years, Boris has worked on a myriad of CSR issues for both ESG trendsetters and ESG-compliant players. This has taken him to various countries to bring his expertise to companies, teach at universities, speak at events and take part in Assessment Center assignments. His recognized expertise has enabled him to write and co-write for prestigious institutions.
Boris holds Masters in Economics and Finance (Paris Dauphine) and Public Law (Sorbonne Paris), an MBA (Paris School of Business), and ESG-related specializations from universities in Switzerland and the United States. He is also certified in CFA ESG, AMF for investment professions, Scrum Master, and Scrum Product Owner.
For ETHIKYOU, existence is not defined by what we have done, but by what we become. Life is an ongoing education that feeds a person’s potential through his experiences. This potential, present in each of us, is not measured solely by given situations, but by instinct, intuition, and sensitivities that are constants in our behaviours. When aligned with CSR, this potential can be a powerful asset for the company.
Boris Francioli, Founder of ETHIKYOU
Managing Partner
With a background in accounting and HR since 2010, Marguerite has worked in a variety of companies (accounting firms, start-ups, VSEs/SMEs, large corporations, etc.). She has begun her career as an Accounting Associate before advancing to roles such as Sole Accountant, Accounting Manager, and International Accounting Manager, where she solidified her managerial experience.
Marguerite has also developed expertise in human resources, particularly from an operational perspective (personnel administration, payroll management, recruitment, employer branding, and compensation). She has been involved in various HR projects, such as implementing an HRIS (career management system), and has developed a strong awareness of workplace quality issues.
Marguerite’s interest in HR led her to take a specialized Master’s degree in Human Development and Transformation Management at the IESEG School of Management. This enabled him to develop and deepen his skills in HR strategy, coaching, employee commitment, change management, organizational transformation and CSR, among others.
Why ETHIKYOU?
ETHIKYOU was founded to support companies in navigating challenges arising from the accelerating regulatory landscape surrounding CSR at both the European and French levels, which now imposes legal frameworks on practices that were once voluntary.
This is exemplified by the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) in Europe, which has transformed CSR reporting, including the French Non-Financial Performance Declaration (DPEF).
In response to this tightening regulatory environment, ETHIKYOU has expanded its traditional consulting services to include an innovative digital solution designed to mitigate risks and create opportunities for companies undergoing transformation through CSR.
Increasing Obligations for More Businesses
Approximately 50,000 companies in Europe are required to publish a CSR report under the CSRD!
The CSRD is the major directive in the regulatory framework related to CSR in Europe, consisting of several regulations. In recent years, these regulations have increasingly targeted specific sectors and, at times, entire industries.
Among these European regulations is the SFDR (Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation), which has been aimed at financial actors since 2021, and the green taxonomy introduced in 2022, which applies to all sectors, similar to the CSRD and the CSDDD (Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive) that targets multiple sectors. In Europe, these regulations share common logics and requirements that create similar trends outside of Europe.
For instance, in recent years, countries around the world have adopted CSR-related regulations that include shared principles with those in Europe. Concrete examples can be found in countries in the Americas (Brazil, United States), Africa (South Africa, Morocco), Asia (China, Singapore), and Oceania (Australia, New Zealand).
These regulatory trends inevitably compel both internal and external stakeholders to consider non-financial issues in their CSR policies. As a result, whether driven by regulatory requirements or stakeholder expectations, companies have no choice but to evolve and transform their business models to ensure sustainability.
To facilitate this inevitable organizational transformation, companies must develop their CSR potential both in terms of policies and strategies, as well as at the level of their collaborators.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support companies worldwide in their transformation through CSR, with a particular emphasis on human capital, which is the most valuable asset of any organization.
Beyond providing consulting services to assist with regulatory compliance projects and CSR initiatives, ETHIKYOU is dedicated to elevating the CSR potential of both companies and their collaborators. At ETHIKYOU, we believe that this potential, aligned with the principles of CSR, is a valuable treasure that enables companies to navigate the current and future demands of regulations and stakeholder expectations.
To overlook this treasure is to deprive an employee of their full potential and to hinder a company’s ability to undergo profound and sustainable transformation. Ultimately, this impacts the company’s ability to survive and thrive in an evolving world.
ETHIKYOU thus facilitates the assessment of this potential and offers consulting services to guide companies in their CSR efforts (regulatory compliance, strategy development, training, business analysis, etc.).
The Values that Guide Us

We act honestly in all circumstances and strive to remain as objective as possible, relying on scientific approaches to advise our clients.
Client Commitment
We prioritize customer satisfaction and deliver the best of our expertise while being transparent about our methodological limitations.
Innovation
We encourage creativity and embrace unconventional approaches to develop solutions that align with regulatory and voluntary trends in CSR.
Openness to the World and Others
We value the potential within our collaborators to provide our clients with relevant and innovative solutions for transformation through a comprehensive and multicultural approach to CSR.
Our Vision
With these values and their synergy, Marguerite and Boris foster a corporate culture that embraces the potential within each individual, breaking down social determinism and limiting beliefs that hinder the ability to unveil one’s natural potential. This conviction embodies the essence of ETHIKYOU, which believes in the potential of employees at all levels of an organization to drive transformation required by regulations and stakeholders worldwide.
We recognize that this transformation must extend beyond mere regulatory compliance, as stakeholders, including clients and recent graduates, are no longer convinced by the superficial adoption of imposed CSR requirements as a means to demonstrate ethical values.
In a reality where CSR is becoming central to a company’s sustainability, we see the urgent need to uncover the CSR potential of individuals, a treasure inherent in every employee. Regardless of their backgrounds and beliefs, each employee possesses this treasure, but like any treasure, it can be challenging to discover.
Evaluating the human aspect of CSR to identify this potential requires objective methodologies and approaches based on ESG dimensions. This is where ETHIKYOU’s mission begins, placing CSR at the heart of humanity to enable companies to harness this treasure through access to tools and indicators.
Beyond analyzing the human aspect of CSR, ETHIKYOU offers a collaborative development solution through its digital platform, which considers the main regional characteristics related to CSR and regulations. By revealing the CSR potentials of individuals around the globe, ETHIKYOU aims to demonstrate synergies despite differing perspectives and cultures.
